World Federation of Master Tailor (WFMT), which has been known as “The Oscar of Tailoring World,” has a high reputation and position in the tailors master field. Taiwan was honored to host this event and welcomed over 400 delegates from around 30 countries this year. At this event, the designers from all over the world had the opportunity to meet and interact with each other. This was also an opportunity for the Taiwanese designers to introduce Taiwan to the guests.

SUNMEI was very pleased to participate in one of the events in the convention – the Taiwanese Designer Fashion Show (WFMT). Thed designers from The Clothes Association With Technical Degree A R.O.C Purpose used our new pendants perfectly in their designs, which integrated with Taiwanese culture. We were really honored and also proud to see our products being presented in an international event.

The project we participated in is called “ Travel to see the beauty of Taiwan,” which meant to highlight the unique spots, animals, and plants of Taiwan. Designers took Taipei 101, the Queen’s Head Rock, The Sea of Clouds of Alishan, Taiwan Blue Magpie, Rhododendron as inspirations. After reviewing through the dresses, it would feel like as if you have traveled through the whole island.

Furthermore, two dresses have integrated the culture of Din Tao (religious parade of Taoism) and the culture of Hakka and have presented the cultures through traditional embroidery. The designers integrated high-quality Taiwanese fabrics, LEDs, acrylic stones into their designs.
